The use of this website is subject to the following Terms and Conditions, which set out the rules for how we run the website and we advise all users of this website to read them. By using this website you acknowledge that you have read and you agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to change the contents of this website, including these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice by posting such changes on the website. We would advise all users of this website to familiarise themselves with the Terms and Conditions regularly to ensure that they are aware of any changes.
Use of the website after a change has been posted will signify the user’s acceptance of the modified Terms and Conditions.

Shopping on the website

The following Terms and Conditions apply to how we supply any goods displayed for sale on our website which you purchase through our website. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights. The information, service and goods on this website are intended for use by residents of the UK only, and are not aimed at or intended for use by residents of any other jurisdiction.

 

Prices

The prices for schoolwear at the checkout stage are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

The placing of products on our website is an invitation to accept offers for products and is not an offer to sell at the listed price nor is it binding on us. We are under no obligation to accept your order (even if the order has been confirmed and the payment has been charged).

In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, we will notify you of the correct price and we will give you the choice of either purchasing the product at the correct price or cancelling your order. If you confirm you want the product at the corrected price we will deliver the product to you. If payment has been charged for the purchase and you cancel your order we will, on return of the goods, issue a refund.

 

Payment

We accept payment by credit card or debit card. We shall not process any orders until we receive confirmation of payment. Your payment card is debited at the time of placing your order and sometimes a password may be asked for. This is an additional security measure requested by your card provider.

 

All transaction information passed between our website is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to our servers from our payment service provider are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be assured that nothing we pass to our payment service provider can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

 

Delivery  

We aim to deliver Schoolwear orders to UK addresses within 5 working days of placing your order.

APC is our preferred delivery company and will attempt delivery of your order twice. After the second failed attempt your order will be returned to our store and we will contact you to advise how we will proceed.

Schoolwear items supplied are subject to availability of stocks at the date of your order. If you are ordering more than one item, your order may be sent to you in instalments if certain items are out of stock.

We will inform you as soon as we can if we are unable to deliver your order within 21 days after you placed your order. You may agree an alternative delivery period or you may cancel the order. In no event shall we be liable for any damages or penalty for any delay in delivery.

Your right to cancel an order

If you have submitted your order and received your confirmation email from Graduates Ltd, you can still cancel your order provided that it has not yet entered the dispatch process. Please contact us by email: info@graduates-schoolwear.co.uk and mark it ‘CANCEL MY ORDER’ in the subject line. Please ensure that you supply your name, invoice address postcode, product ordered and order number on the email. 

If you wish to cancel your order after the dispatch stage, you will need to wait until you receive your order and follow our Returns procedure below. On cancellation for whatever reason you must return to us the goods we have delivered to you. We operate a No Quibbles Returns policy. We however are unable to accept the return of personalised goods (i.e. nametapes).

 

Returns Policy

If for any reason you are unhappy with any item that you have purchased from us, you can return the item to us in its original condition with tags and packaging within 28 days from receipt of delivery for a full refund.

 

Unfortunately, we cannot offer exchanges for orders placed online. Please return your item/s by post or to our store and place a new order.

Return the item using the Returns Form included with your delivery giving the reason for the return. If you do not have the original Returns Form, please send us a note detailing the reason for the return and include your order number. Please also include your email address. 

 

Pack the item securely and address it to the following:  Graduates Limited, 201 High Street, Orpington, Kent, BR6 0PF.

 

Please keep your proof of postage from the Post Office or courier as this is your proof that you have returned your items to us. We cannot be held responsible for any items that go missing.

 

Returns can also be accepted at our high street store using the Returns Form included with your delivery. A refund will be made to the card used for the original purchase.

Personalised items are non-returnable. We are unable to exchange or refund any items that have been personalised.

 

Delivered incorrect, defective or damaged goods

In the unlikely event that you receive items which were either not what you ordered, damaged or defective, or are of a different quality to that stated on your order form, we shall make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace or repair any damaged or deflective goods, or return to you the amount you paid for the items in question provided that you notify us of the problem by Email to info@graduates-schoolwear.co.uk within 3 working days of delivery of the goods plus return them to us, if we request you to. This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

Complaints Procedure

In the event that we fail to meet our high standards of customer service please do not hesitate to contact us by Email to info@graduates-schoolwear.co.uk and we will endeavour to deal with your complaint as soon as possible, and make every effort to reach a satisfactory conclusion on your behalf in order to retain your valued custom.
  

 

Security

You payment transactions will be processed at the highest level of security by Handepay.

Handepay benefits from providing numerous fraud prevention combinations, via a Level 1 PCI:DSS compliant network. The combined payments and security wisdom of this network means that the safety of your transactions is both deep and efficient at all times.

We urge children under 18 years of age to check with their parents or guardians before using the internet, as usage will often result in personal information being collected.



Law and Jurisdiction 

These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Disputes arising in relation to this website shall be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Certain provisions contained in these Terms and Conditions may be disallowed by the laws of the courts from which you are accessing the website. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions are found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, it will be severed from the rest of these Terms and Conditions which shall remain unaffected. A person who is not a party to this contract is not entitled to enforce any of its terms under the contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

 

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions represent the entire understanding relation to the use of the Website and supersede all other statements, representations or warranties (whether written, made by email or oral) made by Graduates Ltd. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall affect the liability of either party in respect of any misrepresentation, warranty or condition that it makes fraudulently. Any rights not expressly granted in these Terms and Conditions are reserved by Graduates Ltd.



Force Majeure

We shall not be liable to you for any delay in, or failure of, performance of our obligations under these Terms and Conditions arising from any cause beyond our reasonable control including any of the following: act of God, government act, war, fire, flood, explosion or civil commotion, failure in information technology or telecommunications services, failure of a third party (including failure to supply data) and industrial action.



DISCLAIMER OF CONTENT

Whilst we have taken all reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information on this website it is provided on an “as is” basis and we give no warranty and make no representation regarding the accuracy or completeness of the content of this website. Further, no warranty is given that the website shall be available on an uninterrupted basis, and no liability can be accepted in respect of losses or damages arising out of such unavailability.

Access to and use of this website is at the users’ own risk and we do not warrant that the use of this website or any material downloaded from it will not cause damage to any property, including but not limited to the loss of data or computer virus infection.
